I have a cost reduction idea for APH................
Comment by Ziggy1950 on Aug 06, 2020 4:42pm
Wow talk about overpaid , Irwin is a waste of good breathing air. Fire his azz out that door and hire a deal maker for a fraction of what this idiot is getting paid. We go down 25 percent after each quarterly report with this guy in charge , several quarters in a row. Thanks Ziggy

Ziggy, what's not to understand? MJ market is heavily manipulated by the banks and funds. It's easy money for them. WEED went up 12-15% prior to APHA's earnings. What were the news? None, that's what the news were. Zero. Their CEO said 'we have a better control over our costs' at the last quarterly call (reported a few hundred million dollar loss) and yet WEED went up.  ...more

Wow! I never realized there was this much disparity. Mr. Simon stated how he moved APHA to the Nasdaq from the NYSE in order to save us $$$$. Well the numbers speak for themselves, he needs to justify this salary. He needs to explain to everyone or the so called Board of Directors need to show some integrity and remove him immediately. There needs to be some accountability with shareholder dollars ...more

The boards approved their salaries under the assumption that this would be enough for these people to support a decent lifestyle for themselves and their families. What the board didnt realise is the greed factor. Temptation to short stocks and manipulate them to make quick easy low risk money is only possible when backdoor is open to information inside the company. Irwin has clearly mentioned in ...more

Silent bull you couldn't run a koolaid stand and turn a profit.  it's clear from your posts that you don't understand board governance! Give us all a break- hush!
Comment by Silentbull on Aug 06, 2020 6:28pm
Ofcourse how could I understand the impeccable corporate governance board of aphria who have been instrumental in approving, supporting and then revising nuuvera deal after short report , LATAM deals and several other loose ended ones. The dummy  board has been blindfolded and comprised of directors with no experience of asking relevant questions, no professional education to even know what ...more

Wish all these cannabis companies report their quarters on the same day, this way atleast the carnage doesnt go on forever. Next week its canopy, Tilray, Zenabis, Canopy Rivers and a few more...mon to friday too much information to absorb and lot of play for traders, penny flippers and shorts

There is a reason for that. Canopy was smart and teamed up with a company that has huge pockets. Apha teamed up with a "mystery investor" and gave no clarity to the markets.

Please, WEED only had a $1 billion loss this year! if they can't grow quality products and sell at a profit, their Constellation $ will run dry!
Comment by Planetoflimes on Aug 06, 2020 11:20pm
not saying weed a good company, I never even hinted at it.... but if you are wondering why the stock price is what it is compared to weed then a partner with deep pockets is better than some bought deal selling 10% of the company for no premium and no advantage, just a low sp and more dilution to follow at a low price.

Unless you are a CEO or C level executive, and especially if you are long on apha since the Q.

My thoughts on Irwin's bonus/option based award criteria: - Stop calling Aphria head office town location as Leamingham. It is Leamington - Visit Leamington, ON, Canada, at least twice a year - When visiting the Leamington head office, try not to wear the cheap store bought Halloween            crown and run up and down the office aisles yelling "I am King ...more
