Selling half my position Monday

I'll be selling half my position which I started at 4.52 (USD).  Bought again at 4.95 as well.  Total shares, 8900.
Hoping I'm wrong and I don't miss out on too much of a pop, but APHA has a history of selling off either at open on earnings are days after.  And its never less than 15%.
You do you with your money, but to me that's sound advice.

Your right until your wrong. I squeezed 300% from Canopy when it was trading sideways between 2.50 - 5.00 ish then got washed out when it rose above 7.00 then rocketed to 17.80. I remember when Aurora was trading in the $0.30-0.50 range, there was this guy on stockhouse I can't remmeber his username, arctic something?, and he would nail every single movement... until he didn't and got ...more

Original poster was wrong a year ago for last year end. Claimed there was something wrong with this company when it was trading down the week before earnings. Said he was selling all. That is when it rallied 40 percent in one day. Nobody is perfect and can call all right shots all of the time, even the original poster who called himself the stock jesus. I think this q will impress. Based on the ...more

Tuesday you mean to sell? I'm not selling before financials this time and for these reasons! 1. I think financials will solidify the strength of APH 2. Germany development is huge 3. we might hear something about USA potential development! i think the risk is minimal this time to be negative! Just my opinion!

Man, for like 3 years I was trying to find you. You were my hero back in 2016. I remember you buying ogi, cgc and apha. It was in july 2016. I remember you doing some good fibonacci analysis back in november 2016 when cgc hit 17.xx. I remeber buying 75k CAD worth of cgc at 3.04 CAd and selling it at 17.11 average. Man Those were the good times.

To each his own. If an investor wishes to hold, sell or take some profits and hold core position who can argue? GLTA ChesterInvester

Outhere... I can't remember if it was you last quarter but someone posted not to hold Aphria into the quarter announcement. If it was you, you are right amd I am going to follow you with selling half. I have road this from $20 down to sub $5 and back. There have been a couple of good ones in there but the feeling that morning when you see the results makes you kick yourself more times then not ...more

I'd caution on selling half. Maybe a quarter but their financials are coming out on the 15th and their previous 3 quarters showed a profit.
Comment by Shazam57 on Oct 10, 2020 2:21pm
Correction 2 out of the last 4 quarters showed a profit.
