Although a low volume day

The Tilray chart is looking fairly intact.

Short covering rally / bear set-up for tomorrow?
3.5 hours to go, let's see what the bears have in store.

What is the plan on covering a cajillion shares.... ?

It would be bullish to see a Close on TLRY above $8.60 today.

APHA - TSX side is a lame dog - It will be good to get off the TSX. ( 079 = criminal house ) TLRY - bullish Close at $8.63 which would be equiv to APHA - Nasdaq side @ $7.23 USD although as you can see that closed @ only $7.06 USD APHA is currently the anchor holding TLRY back if you can believe that. Smarter shorts covering on TLRY or lame TSX... who knows. Tormorrow shall be another ...more

CCD, it did the same on December 28   TLRY +22.01% over APHA Nasdaq. Today +22.23%  Evened up the next day to +20.55%, December 29   Agreed, there is a boat anchor down.  Still haven't bought into TSX for that very reason...lame! Cheers, Ventura

If the republicans just win one of two Georgia Senatorial run offs then the MJ stocks will fall thru the floor. It will not matter until 2022 mid terms. January 6th morning will be very interesting indeed.

False!

What I noticed in today's trading is that APHA and TLRY were trading extremely sychronized within 2 cents of each (after 0.8381 calculation) right up to 12 o'clock high noon. It was between 12:00 and 1:00 where Tilray pulled away and created a 15 cent divergence by 1:00. The divergence remained strong for the remainder of the day Closing with a 17 cent spread.  After hours trading ...more

Same, stepped away for a few hours, checked in and WTF. Nice to read some Common Sense on here. It's is rare commodity on this bullboard. Still nagging me, if I should of went the TLRY Nasdaq way.  Keep it coming CCD, good stuff. Cheers

I would just hold the APHA. I do expect the deal will go through but if it doesn't then you own TLRY. If the deal were to fall through my expectation is that TLRY would have a gap down sell-off without the white knight Aphria being in the picture. Aphria's future was looking very bright before the merger, I think even brighter with the merger creating an international powerhouse with ...more

Exactly my thoughts CCD, Damed if I want to be holding TLRY, if this goes sour.  Thanks for the reaffirmation, your post is spot on. Cheers, Ventura

Ventura: allowances for not being as analytical as you... I'm trying to wrap my head around your latest post stating that you re holding apha on the US side NASDAQ rather than TSX. With apha being interlisted, the SP btw the two stock exchanges always correlates. Apha / Tilray spread has been fluctuating btw 18-22% but at the end of the day Apha SH will still get .838:1 TLRY should the ...more

Marts,  Very good question. My apologies, I will get back to you tomorrow and the board on my reasoning.  I got a little distracted. Cheers, Ventura

Marts, I should have included APHA Nasdaq as well on that post. They both seem to be a boat anchor right now for the New TLRY.  I put 50% of my funds in TSX and 50% in Nasdaq.  Works well when the market is closed either side  i.e Thanksgiving etc...when they don't correlate.  Example...Canada Thanksgivings, TSX closed. Aphria Nasdaq climbs significantly ...more

Thanks for the rationalization Ventura. If I remember correctly you sold around the same time as I did after apha's pre/post election run, SW deal (on the day the House officially passed the MORE act and the hype was more or less over) and I think you picked it back up a couple weeks ago at $7.15US. Btw I'm holding on the boat anchor side haha.  What's your gameplan from here if ...more
