Anheuser Busch all over Reddit

Say what????

Anheuser Busch (one of the largest alcohol companies on the earth) is going to soon make an equity stake into the combined entity Aphria/Tilray, similar to how Constellation brands made an equity stake in Canopy Growth in 2017.

It broke news very recently that Anheuser has been helping Aphria distribute its newly acquired Sweetwater brands into Colorado. Busch also has an existing small research partnership with Tilray. These facts can be indicative of an equity partnership that could be announced shortly before or after the merger.

Remember, Canopy became the face of the cannabis industry when Constellation invested in them back in 2017.

The post is total garbage. The company is called AB Inbev for starters. "These facts can be indicative" -- very convincing!

Ok, maybe I was a tad strong in my reply but I'm not seeing the chatter that you're talking about on Reddit and so to me it seems like those Diageo posts or maybe Harvey the rabbit is planning to sink billions in as he pivots away from his successful carrot business. I saw an interview with Simon when the Tilray deal was announced and he seemed really jazzed about the idea of expanding ...more
