$35+

Over $35. That is the Canadian equivilent in after hours trading for Aphria.  Tilray is over $61 Canadian in after hours.  That is INSANE.  I have had a few members message me as to what I think of this and what to do. The gap is now outrageous. Either Tilray will drop like a stone tomorrow or Aphria will be pushing $40 in the next day or two. I believe it will be the latter. I am now 24% cashed out.  Those on here who have cashed out 100% have made a big mistake. The big drop in share price is going to happen, but I believe there are a few days of gains left for this stock. After the drop occurs you can buy back in at that lower price.  This is not a fly by night company, not anymore.  We have the fundamentals to prove it.  Aphria/Tilray have been in the news lately and it is driving the frenzy.  4 1/2 years of waiting is paying off for me but you must take some profits. Case in point: 3 years ago I was up $1.3mil on paper but didn't sell, only to be down $420K on paper last year after the covid drop. As of today I am up $2mil+, but this time ......... some of that is in cash.  Lesson learned.

Thanks to all who responded to posts yesterday.

To all Aphrians and Aphrillionaires I say WELL DONE!

Good points. With Tilray pushing $61 in after hours the upwards pressure for Aphria to catch up will be there but this rise is too fast based on little / not significant news. I like Aphria but there is no way it should be this high before merger this soon unless there is even bigger news (which there isn't at the moment).  Volume is crazy at the moment!

PosterVi- little or no news? 1. Merger resulting in the largest global compsny 2. APH made a huge announcement about Germany 3. TLRY made huge announcements about Portugal and Spain 4. APH will grow for TLRY with a substantial decrease in cost resulting in higher profits. 5. Sweetwster deal is huge! Compared to WEED our APH is cheap! Will it retract at some point, yes, but then upward!  ...more

Like many of you on this board. I've been through the good and the bad with this stock.  I'm long on Aphria, but i honestly believe that the company's past dirty deeds are holding this stock from increasing at the same rate as Tilray.  Shady Nuverra deal that made previous leadership rich, failed partnership deals with with Molsons, Altria. Last but not least, Hinderberg ...more

Mcknight99- interesting post from someone who just opened an account and being your very first post! Those days are gone with much credibility now, so you sing your tunes to yourself!

I didn't post to trade blows with folks and i didn't just open an account.   The past history has never scared me from staying with this stock. I was just stating my thoughts on why other investors may still be weary to dive in.

McKnight99, Many of us longs agree with you. It seemed like we were cursed for a long period of time.  Most of us starting believing when Vic was speaking/ saying the right things about cutting costs/ future scalability and low costs per gram. He was one of the only CEO's who spoke to a sustainable business model. We have held on to that for a long time and now that we have that ...more

few thoughts here: 1.) it's been months since the merger was announced and it still isn't final till Q2. All the rise has been in new investors liking the stock. As an Aphria long, I like that but see that the old news wasn't material to moving the stock at the moment. Same with the sweet water deal, the market didn't really react in the same way as it has in the last ...more
