Been trying to call thier office but has been going directly to answering machine for a few days now.

For example, the company may decide not to participate in any call, make any outgoing calls, or any other policies deemed appropriate. I’ve worked in investment companies most of my life; I know what a black out is - but have never seen one resulting in a Co not answering the phone, hence my question. Sounds very far fetched to me, unless of course we’re talking about an electric black out...

Communication blackouts to the public are more common then you think. Ive seen it happen many times with many companies over the years. Is it defined under a term in the stock market dictionary?  Maybe not.  But it is a widely used practice.  Dont believe me? Try getting through to speak to the ceo or head of ir within a publicly traded company the day before or even two days before ...more

That’s all fine - what cannot be explained by a blackout is not answering the phone at all! (not being able to get to the CEO, that’s pretty normal!) anyway I don’t buy the blackout thing but hey! I got 50k$ in this...

Well sometimes the ceo is the IR department is what i ment.  I guess we will agree to disagree. if youve got 50k in this then you must believe in something positive about whats happening.  I'm thinking youve done your DD with that kind of coin invested. regards

Well I've bet on two juniors this year - for about the same amount each. That's it for my super speculative investments I follow Management, in both cases. I'm mostly looking for seasoned managers with a proven track record - and obviously a project I believe has potential. RGX fits the bill, but is still a very risky proposition.
