RTK to be sold to Kelt

I called this takeover and it happened sooner than I thought it would.

I was expecting a deal in q2 but hey the sooner the better.

strike while the low oil price iron is hot.

my next takeover target is COS for 13-15 CND, get it while it;s cheap.

same kind of deal, one main asset company that IMperial operates and you don't need all of that overhead running the same asset.

bye bye COS

basically everyone knew it was going to happen. A junior whose position is JV'd with a larger company and in the last year they have been selling off non core, non JV'd assets to cleanse themselves for teh takeover.

Lol funny ready all these experts who knew this was going to happen.  I assume you had all your money invested in this then,  mortgaged your home so you could buy more because it was a certainty.   Lol

RTK sells itself for ~46% of NAV so there is a lot of room for a larger player to get involved. Shell perhaps? I wouldn't be surprised if it happens.........

it's a done deal, no other company is going to offer more. the size of this play is not big enough for a major to waste their time on. take the premium and be happy. buy COS because they will get scooped by IMO. DYODD

Not a chance.  Shell has enough property up here.  If anything they buy kel in a year.

250,000 Acres in Montney, sweet. Anymore like this ? Chinook & Cequence both seem to have about 100,000 Acres & similar infrastructure, giving them about $200 mil Market Cap in comparison, so both are 50% overpriced !
