A good reason for a higher bid......
There is not enough Canadian sourced condensate to dilute and ship oil sands in tank cars or by pipeline. The bulk of the required condensate is imported by rail cars from the USA.....Pembina is buidling a condensate pipeline through Inga/Fireweed into the NE BC Montney area......Given the large amount of condensate/well at Inga/Fireweed, and the prospect of a condensate pipeline, it only makes good sense that another bid could come, and likely from a large player involved in the oil sands......
