RE:teevee

RE:teeveeI am retired. I once owned ARN shares, but after they sold debentures to pay for pipelines and roads etc, I sold. Why? First, the acid fracs didn't work as well as hoped for, and second, because, the infrastructure added no value and the balance sheet became seriously stretched. Never the less, I am interested in the outcome here. Frankly, I was surprised that ARN attracted/found the Aspenleaf deal as I didn't think any  company would step up at a price that would not only satisfy the bankers, but ALSO make debenture holders any where near whole......the assets are ok, but require a large, well financed company that can invest the capital required to make it work. In Calgary, and pretty much anywhere else, when an E & P company gets an over leveraged balance sheet, the baseball bats come out, equity capital dries up, the shareholders get killed and debenture holders if they are lucky, just get beaten  to a pulp.
