Why Did they Consult No One ?

ARROGANCE  AND  BLINDED  BY  THEIR   GREED  !

As the saying goes - 'Something smells awful in the state of Denmark'. There are too many red flags popping up everywhere around this deal.  Arcan is trying way too hard to sell this 'strategic restructuring' deal to the retail investment community.  If the deal was so good then it would sell on its own merit.  But the reaction by the market since they made the ...more

Without the support of LTS and CPG this deal is going nowhere . They should have had them locked up to support this deal or any proposed deal BEFORE they papered it .EVEN A FOOL KNOWS THAT! Even a no vote from either one jeparizes any deal.

Hardeehar, I do not understand what is your strategy behind waiting to the last minute for voting. I believe that sooner the deal is rejected by one of the three votes quicker our money is going to be back at work. Arcan is losing time waiting right now.

The thing I am torn about is whether I should sell, take my tax loss, and see what the fallout is from the vote, or hold on. There doesn't appear to be much buying to ...more

The problem with this transaction from the standpoint of the shareholders IMO is that it's hard to see how Muira makes any money.  As far as I  can tell so far management has refused to tell anyone how much the 3 no doubt over paid executives are going to be paid and the amount of  operating income it would have based on the current run rate.  I suspect that number is very ...more

Doesn't sound like LTS likes the deal. What are they waiting for? Drive the Arcan into bankruptcy and buy it back from the bank? They haven't said they are voting NO, possibility that they will abstain. Never understood why CPG or LTS would spend millions to buy shares in a Jr. company and then not proceed with a transaction. LTS did the same thing with Tri-oil, made a little bit of profit ...more
