RE:Lesson Learned

crow27 wrote: Nervous nellies sell shares when they should have been buying. There were 25 million reasons why you should have been buying today.
And the crazy part is that you actually believed in the science but still sold on the cheap??
Anyway, onward and upwards. I see this climbing/clawing back all the losses.
I still think big Pharma was surprised that Antibe made the 25-29 million deal but they needed the cash and that's what they got. Once again good move Antibe!!!
Many big Pharma's will be coming to the table soon folks. Things can happen real fast these days and Antibe will be the topic of many conversation in the board rooms.
Hang onto all those cheap shares you bought today and any other shares that you have owned for sometime now as the big time pay day is just around the corner.

Same thing happens tomorrow

The last time they raised cash they basically needed it to survive/keep the lights on. This is much different as the Nuance 20 million and this raise will  fully complete phase 3. Sure we get some dilution but that's all part of the game. This company is now fully funded to deliver. I think the markets will embrace this.  We need not make another deal unles it fits our game plan ...more

absolutely Crow. You are 100% right. We are in a MUCH stronger position from June! I was just reading the thread from back then, (June 9-10, 2020) and making a comparison of reaction on the board that night (it halted and released news then too) to today. Very similar retail sentiment on this news. This is a shake the tree event.

Could not agree more. It the price had not gone to $7.50 and hovered around $5.50 or $6 this deal would take on a different tone nothwithstanding the dilution. New here. Been a holder for a couple of years now and this time it appears ATE is getting set up for the long haul play alone if they don't get blown out out of the water before that.
Comment by Arbourmark on Feb 17, 2021 7:59pm
Crow, I agree 100%!
Comment by crow27 on Feb 17, 2021 8:11pm
So lets say they have aprox 15 million still from the first raise and then 20 million from the Nuance deal in a upfront payment which is in ATE bank account already and lets say this deal today raises 40 million So we are sitting on aprox 75 million dollars. Dan had the chance to make this deal and he took it and I would have taken it too. Other partnering deals may come and that will only pad the ...more

Crow, there is lots of noise on our board. I recall for months many posting management were incompetent but then we got the Nuance deal and they were geniuses, now they raised more capital and back in the dog house. It is almost comical.   Yes there is dilution, big deal! We now have cash in the bank and can do it alone, we actually have additional cash with warrants and previous raise, we ...more

Amen!!! I'm not convinced we fall tomorrow but if fools want to sell then I'll be on those shares like a fat guy on a smarty. This was a GREAT announcement for a solid future. Nasdaq can not say we do not qualify now!!!! Share price up and also all cashed up.
Comment by Edcando on Feb 17, 2021 8:47pm
Egggggactly. Some raises are like a kick to the nuts. This was at most a fleeting flick to the shoulder. Maybe it does drop a little maybe not, but longer term this raise actually adds a lot of value to the company. The longer we can go it alone the higher our take out price gets .
Comment by RalphRalph on Feb 17, 2021 9:48pm
Their cash position (including bought deal $) is not enough to fully fund Phase 3 & maintain operations/pipeline development during that stretch of years.  They are going to need additional money, in the form of an upfront payment from another partnership or an additional raise down the line.    They just essentially sold 22% of the company for $35-40M.  It's ...more

Actually Ralph I have made numerous posts this evening supporting my reasons, so need to engage you. I have battled you in the past and placed you on ignore which I will again. I am not here to pick fights. You have a glass half empty view, you have been critical of management on many occasions in the past, people can simply view your history. Time will tell, the sp may drop due to bought ...more

This bought deal is really bringing out the best in everyone, hahaha. I stand by what I have been saying all along. It's a great company and it just got a lot better.
Comment by Doccole on Feb 17, 2021 10:59pm
Lol so true! I just don't get it.  I understand the the raise purpose.  I guess I was hoping to acquire enough $ through deals to fund phase 3.  Which the CEO insinuated the fireside chats.  Dude Is Very misleading.
Comment by MrMugsy on Feb 17, 2021 11:35pm
Unfortunately we are all guessing right now. We don't have enough information but it certainly seems odd at this moment in time. Not totally unexpected ... just seems the timing is off. For example, if there are product development requirements - like the need to move multiple drugs ahead faster (to drive corporate value) - then I can see a quick infusion needed.  What about a need to be ...more

Those were my initial thoughts too, Doc.  Not only the fireside chats, but from what was implied in the shelf prospectus and other statements as well.    We were not expecting an equity raise this soon, if at all. Dan has always been a straightshooter. He thought that a partner would fund PH 3. So it was a bit of a curve to hear this now.    It is for this reason ...more

True! after reading everything from all the retail comments I think we all agree about feeling in the dark.   As a shareholder I would love to know what the heck is going on with AH/ATE merger!!!
Comment by 3burtc on Feb 18, 2021 7:03am
The merger only happens if we get taken out.
Comment by Doccole on Feb 18, 2021 7:33am
You are saying AH and ATE will only unite the IP if there is a buyer? the new release in December sounded like this was part of the plan.  I anticipated 15% dilution on that alone.
Comment by Marky1 on Feb 18, 2021 8:24am
Burt...What do u mean, the merger occurs when we are bought out!? i disagree...going to happen very very soon!
Comment by 3burtc on Feb 18, 2021 8:53am
What I meant to say is I have to merge into my left lane to get my Chinese takeout. You people miss everything!

What do you mean with AH/ATE merger? I don't understand. Thanks

If you consider analysis of facts to be pessimism & 'glass half empty' - so be it.  The facts speak for themselves.  I've been critical of management  based on the factual aspects of their performance.  If my perspective bothers you, feel free to ignore my posts.   I pointed out the fact that they still don't have enough cash to fully fund Phase 3 ...more

The thought crossed my mind that this could be a raise to buy IP from Antibe holdings... With the Nuance deal we had enough to fund the phase 3 alone which is around $30 million. This allows us to fund pre-IND work for 2 other molecules which is really exciting! By the time we finish phase 3 we could have 2 other molecules ready for IND submission which would increase the amount we command.
Comment by Sikong on Feb 17, 2021 11:47pm
I have the same guess too. Time will tell.
