Pulled this from another board. Poster named Ogi reached out to Christina Cameron at ATE with a question about the deal. This was her response:
Hi ..., Thank you for your interest. The timing is immediate. We receive the US$20m upfront immediately. Nuance will run their own phase 3 trial in china at their expense. Separately, Antibe will continue Phase 3 development through FDA and seek additional partners for the other markets. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Many thanks, Christina

CFDA might approve OtenA well in advance of US & EU since Covid is no longer a big issue in China. There are only a handful of new cases in China while Canada confirm thousands US see ten fold of Canada everyday.

That is correct, we are not stuck in the mud now that we have signed that blockbuster deal with China.
