RE: 3-d siesmicGreat deduction.. in response to an earlier post, the seismic grid could be concievably bigger than the area of the land as the company wants to tie adjacent wells/pools to the subject lands. This is normal industry practice as they would be looking for "analogues" to drill based on the "seismic signature" they see over the adjacent pools. Also it is good practice to have some overlap around the edges of the subject lands you are interseted in to make sure you achieve enough "fold" in the data. But as someone has smartly pointed out ina previous fold the area of 3D corresponds to the combined area of Medianara and the block on offer. Obviously AEN had its "eyes' on this block from the get-go! Bigbadun'
