RE: 211/22a-8 Bigbadun.

RE: 211/22a-8 Bigbadun.Yes the flow rate depends on permeabilty which can vary significantly through the pay section, so you cant extrapolate the 20' test interval to the whole pay interval. Rocks are not homogenous, depending on the depositional enviroment and the burial hsitory/diagenesis. I surmised that they tested inferior quality rock with this test (possibly as this zone had not been tested before?). So one would assume from that statement that there are areas within the pay interval which are better quality rock!!!!!!!!!!!! SO if they were tested they would give more than 1800BOPD!!!!!!!!!! Anyway they tested the zone to evaluate the production potential and i woud say this is an economic well and will be a producer. Logically I would think this zone is at the bottom of the pay, so they can come back next year to perforate the rest of the pay and produce the well (then again what would I know!) Bigbadun'
