Noone is stealing anything. Alberta dosent invest the money (capital), industry does. Im afraid the Government doenst understand economics. Im was ok with increasing royalties on the Oilsands but they have really not helped the small independents with the increases on conventional oil and gas
The Alberta Govt got $1.5 billion a year from land sales. They wont be getting that again under the new regime.
I cant see this is any good for the oil service sector.
