Catcher-Geological link to Fyne

Catcher-Geological link to FyneIt appears Encore and Premier have discoveries in 2 Tertiary sandstones at Catcher. The Cromarty sand is Palaeocene in age and underlies the Eocene Tay - which is the zone AEN have exploited at Fyne.

From  Premier's NR's there are indications both pay could be part of the same pool (i.e occupy the same structure). Interestingly they drilled downdip on one appraisal leg , into an area of weak seismic amplitude and still found significant oil.

AEN have not drilled into the deeper Palaeocene at Fyne so perhaps Premier sees additonal prospectivity across AEN's acreage- Geologically AEN's lands lie on trend, NW of the Catcher discovery and on the NE margin of the Central Graben.

Perhaps there is life in this old dog yet..
