RE: Gray Share article - timelineI think the interviewer for this article made a boo-boo by saying AEN's fyne development is from the Cromarty sands like Catcher. That is wrong - The sands are the Tay sands and are Eocene in age and lie startigraphically above the Cromarty sands (Palaeocene). There are few wells that have penetrated the Palaeocene on AEN's Fyne acreage.
The take away is that the Fyne and greater Fyne acreage lies on trend (NW ) from Catcher in blk 28/9. Catcher has oil in the Tay sands as well as the underlying Cromarty and is a significant find (300 MMBBl OIP). I like the fact that Premier is re-processing the seismic as the this is a seismic attribute play. Premier would not have done this deal if they didnt see any potential. AEN already sees potential in the Tay and Jurassic on their exploration blocks.
