RE:RE:RE:sale of Tanzania optionWell there was no value in the current SP for Tanzania- ZILCH! Combine that with difficuties between the Zanazibar regional government and the Tanzanian Federals, then this is a good deal to monitise.
The cuurent Market cap of AEN at 10c is about $18.4 million so this cash is significant!
Now they have to get their North Sea production sorted out and Greer has to cut his salary....But there is going to be a shut down at Brent for 2 months for maintenance (august), that isnt too good.
Ireland is their frontier play now. They have got a good catch with Kosmos coming in. Perhaps down the road this will save their bacon.
Lets see if the new guys can do anything with Fyne. The market doesnt think so.
Holding as there is fcuk all else to do.
