To Vassa's credit...
To Vassa's credit...
Not trying to support him. But I do consider the phones more of a sentiment blockade than a real impediment. If we get those approved perhaps we may break .26¢...
Research Capital report said they talked to MSHA in November and expected Dec approval of Nodes and Jan approval of phones. Nodes approval happened a month or so late... and handsets are even later still - should have been in by now but I seriously doubt it is a problem with ACT's product. I expect that MSHA is being typical bureaucratic body moving at their god-given government granted pace and they will get there when they get there.
But more importantly we have to announce some PO's soon.
Research Capital also pointed out that handsets are NOT the majority profit center and that the system can be installed using 3rd party handsets THAT ARE approved already.
I suspect Steve is dragging his feet signing up sales using 3rd party handsets until the very last minute. It's that scene in the western movie where the gunslingers are facing each other and your inner mind is screaming "DRAW FOR C*RIS*T*SAKE !!!".
However, since no one here is involved in the company day-to-day, at least that I know of, it is difficult to surmise what is going on in the "engine room". Phone calls are made, buyers looking for a deal are playing it to the wire as well, lawyers need to look over agreements ( I doubt this system gets purchased as a line item only ) then pee on the document and return it for ratification, etc. etc. etc. Back and forth could take weeks. No one is losing money buy NOT buying it in a hurry.
But I suspect when sales start to get announced it will be tedious... day after day after day... and I for one don't want to be asking myself "How many shares did I sell under .50¢ ?" and smacking my forehead in disgust... LOL
