RE: keep buying and don't even worry about gold prI agree.
I could not resist last week.
Picked up 7,000 shares.
Sure, Gold could drop back to maybe $950, but over the decades, one thing is for sure.  INFLATION.
Everone is starting to talk about it again. In 2010 for sure.
How else do you  think the world will be able to pay for everything?
So my bet going forward is that one day.  And maybe not tomorrow.  But one day coming real soon, we will have Gold at over $2,000/oz.
My other hedge against this the end of the world in 2012.  So if my YRI bet doesn't come through, then who really cares.

So getting back to a take-over theory.  Well I always thought Barrick would have pulled the trigger on Yamana.  I'm wondering if the deal Barrick made last week has anything to do with acquiring companies too?
We'll see.

fyi: I noticed that N. Gas may have also hit bottom.  So I took a position in GAS.

I'm also betting that Sep/Oct will see some big swings in the market.  Watch out!
