Here is a little write up on YRI that might show you that some "experts" think that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I know from your posts that you probably need the YRI money sooner rather than later, but I'd stop beating yourself up over this decision. I'd also take others' opinions re: dollar cost averaging and diversifying to heart (although these two subjects are probably the last things you want to her about right now).

Even if you "invest" rather than "trade," a stock like YRI can be daunting. It's great when we're up because the stock runs fast, but it's also the first miner to drop (and often excessively, as you have seen). One hope that I have, based on the CC is that management is honestly going to make an effort to integrate and improve current mines, rather than continuing to piece together a bunch of M&A deals. Because, obviously, the M&A deals of the past few years have not created the value that they were supposed to!
