RE: RE: RE: RE: live Avion always You should reread what you did. The soldiers returning from Libya indicated no such thing. What they did was strengthen the Tuareg rebellion. All this indicated was the potential for Mali to lose the northern part of the country. The fact the Malian army had been losing some battles recently still didn't indicate the potential for a coup. Someone posted a situation analysis on here by a company who has a pretty good track record predicting situations like this and even they missed it. Given they most likely have sources on the ground in the region hard to give any credibility to the notion that other people knew.
Heck, today is the first time I read about the mass execution of 82 prisorners by the Tuareg in January. The fact that the world is basically turning their backs on Mali pretty much indicates this could drag on.
Agree long term could do well.
