The coup leaders allowed the interim leader to stay, but then the civilians occupied the palace and tore the leader clothes apart, and sent him to the hospital. The coup soldiers just sat and watched.
Kind of sounds like a bad re-run..life stinks...lol.

The reality...there is no coup...they just walked up the middle of a gaint stupid void...and it was the leaders personal security that had to fire the shots at the people...what a joke...lol.
Mali seems to running a country without a leader...coup leaders are just bystanders...
The million dollar question is whom is blocking the supplies and why doesn't the coup leaders just raid them and give the people what they want?
