Kherson pls change to "NO" Kherson I've been following this board for a few months now and have found your posts to be very informative and I respect your show of INTEGRITY when the posting got a little too nasty.( ie. suggesting everyone tone it down). I encourage you to change your vote to "NO" for the following reasons.
1. There are other opportunities to grow the assets with smaller deals ( lots O&G companies need cash) and we don't have to pay out huge fees.
2. Merger votes are usually a formality.... something is obviously wrong when the deal gets voted down ! Don't forget Avenex originally declined on the deal... until the exec's got " SCHMOOZED" down in Pebble Beach! ( not to mention the big guys, CPP, BN ran the numbers and voted NO ! )
3. I think that Joe ( and he's a good SALESMAN ) may have sold you on a rosie picture of a merger... while I found some of his numbers to be inaccurate. ( Funny how we heard barely a "peep" out of Joe when he thought the vote was over, while other's who've used this site to connect with fellow retail investors continued to post.)
So Kherson as the deal is pretty much DOA... I think that a man of your integrity will feel good having voted NO by the 26th.
