COSTS

COSTS

Kami and Fire Lake PEA's suggested mining costs per tonne (waste and ore) average $2.00.

(One PEA says $1.90, the other says $2.10)

Kami has a strip ratio of 2.6 to 1 if you include preproduction stripping or 2.26 without the pre-production.

Assume 34% weight recovery for Kami at the 37% quoted is likely too generous.

So 2.94 tonnes of ROM ore yield 1 tonne of con.

2.94 tonnes + (2.94 X 2.6) = 10.58 tonnes mined per tonne of con.

$10.58 X $2 = $21.16 in mining costs alone. (Is the $2.00 per tonne mining cost realistic?)
