Mining Cliffs Natural Resources plans to close its Scully mine near Wabush , if it does not meet its production targets within 90 days.
More than 400 jobs are at risk at the mine located in Labrador and the Pointe -Noire, in Sept-Iles , which is shipped by boat to extract iron ore .
The United Steelworkers , which represents employees at the Pointe -Noire takes threats seriously Cliffs Natural Resources .
