Azure Minerals Limited / ASX: AZS has been exploring a spodumene-rich pegmatite (which contains lithium) at Andover, and they recently drilled two holes into the area. The results were quite promising - both holes intersected pegmatites that contain spodumene over wide intervals of 22 and 27 meters.
This confirms that the lithium mineralization they had previously identified on the surface of the area extends to a greater depth.
It's worth noting that Azure Minerals has also recently completed a maiden resource estimate for nickel, copper, and cobalt at the Andover project, so there are potentially multiple valuable minerals to be found in the area.
