RE: Dorato and Balmoral in Top Canadian Gold StockTORONTO (Commodity Online): Canadian gold mining and exploration companies are riding high on drill program reports and anticipated number of new discovieries to be announced on 2011, according to Highgrade Review which has compiled a list of 10 stocks for investors to watch.
1)Gold Reserve Inc (TSX:GRZ). The company has invested $300 mn since 1992 for developing the Brisas deposit in Venezuelan Republic. The government has arbitrarily revoked authorisation to continue with the project but Gold Reserve has filed a claim against the country for damages amounting to $1.92 bn, equivalent ot $30 a share. It last traded $.74 on AMEX and TSX.
2)Balmoral Resources Ltd. (TSXV: BAR) is a fledgling Canadian gold miner but headed by Darin Wagner, a leading exploration geologits. It has secured $18 mn in financing and acquired interests in five prospective gold projects.
Today, Balmoral is putting their money to work and they are currently drilling the Fenelon and Martiniere properties in central Quebec. Balmoral was up 6.90% at $1.550 on TSX on April 1, 2011
3. Goldcorp Inc. (TSX: G): Goldcorp has managed to keep average cost of production below $300 an ounce and continues to raise dividend payout and on February 24, 2011 the board approved to increase the annual payout from
.36 per share to
.408. The share traded 1.92% down on April 1 at $47.410 on TSX
4. Dorato Resources Inc. (TSXV: DRI): The company is focussed in is the Cordillera del Condor Gold Distrct, adjacenet to Ecuadorian border which already has world class gold and copper deposits. The scrip last traded 12.31% down at

5)Osisko Mining Corp. (TSX: OSK): Osisko Mine, Brett Resources, Duparquet project are some of the company's strengths.The company is only trading about 10 times cash flow and its Canadian Malrctic gold project could come on stream by mid-2011.(Courtesy: www.highgradereview.com)
