What is it all about?

I have held BAR for many years. I criticize them every chance I get, yet they have a good resource. If they can get it through their thick skulls that you need a marketing strategic and timely news releases it would help greatly. The Gold RE will be the turning point, either they have it or they don’t. For me personally, this (The RE) is the last straw that can break the camels back. So I continue the countdown. Let’s see what happens, perhaps a surprise would be nice. I think they will come in over a Million Oz’s but not near 2 Million.  But who knows until we see the numbers. Getting out before the RE is not a good choice.

For example, if you are going to do an RE, why on earth wouldn’t you time it so that the announcement comes out prior to the PDAC? At least, then you have something to peddle at the conference, for whatever it’s worth. Just another missed opportunity to stoke the investment fires.

But the PLUS! We have the Nickel existing deposit which just keeps growing in value, and has room to be expanded . Even a 1 million RE with good quality (5-7 g) will put us way head of the  1 million RE’s that have been announce at 1.2 – 1.7 g. So not all hope has been flushed down the toilet yet.
Yes, it is depressing, ugly, frustrating, confusing but that’s what investing in junior explores is all about. You should not be a surprised, yet I think they should have bought my Watches Idea!

Few points... First, they don't control when the resource estimate will be finalized, so they are likely as eager to have it as we are. And, I agree, the gold numbers will be the turning point. Having the resource estimate prior to the PDAC is not really a priority as there are ongoing negotiations for both properties.  However, I dont think the share price will do much to the upside

Valuable points. However, they are all forward looking and based on some sharply positive assumptions. If track record was to suggest one thing, that is, the management is immature for this kind of package. They may have done well focusing on one asset with a strategic partner giving advise on top. You see the lack of presence of any strategic investor brings out a poorly executed plan or lack

I concur but with one exception:  I do not see how a RE of 1.5M oz, or higher as you suggest could fail to move the share price higher.  Remember this will be the shallow (pittable) part of the resource.  It is also very high grade so that the economics should be obvious to all, even without a PEA.
