KL will not sit around to ponder about BAR. Now that the Detour acquisition has been approved by 86%. KL would just approach BAR for somekind of a deal, including a complete TO. It's just too risky to let it sit there for another major to swoop in. Since, KL has $800M cash, it can buy BAR (current Mkt Cap:~$70M) at some reasonable premium anytime. Or it could buy a good chunk, say 25% of BAR

why do you think BAR will be more valuable because of a hit on WMs property? Because they are right next to each other? BAR needs to find their own high grade. just because WM has some doesnt mean the mineralization will continue for kilometers into BARs property.
