I think a good deal, synergies look fine and KUB was at a 52 week low, perhaps undervalued somewhat for a producer. AEE was in a bit of a pickle as they needed to raise $$ in a real cra..ppy market for doing that. Good deal for both companies imo.

I agree this is brutal for AEE bagholders BUT .... either way AEE shareholders are getting .025 / share guarranteed so why would anyone today sell their share for less ??? It looks like CUB knows how to get things done, they have a much brighter future than AEE in my opinion. This might turn out to be a good thing down the road ... CUB is aready an oil producer, soon to be a gas producer in the ...more

If you still beleive in the Dadas Shale story I say you have a much better chance of success with Cub Energy than you ever had with Anatolia. AEE is more of a land holder, waiting for someone to discover something to bring up the price of real estate so to speak ... but KUB on the other hand are getting things done judging from the small amount of DD I have done today and the yhave an agressive ...more

Buy away, left this one a long time ago. Shale plays are very capital intensive, enough said.
