Tapering? There will be no tapering! You cannot taper a Ponzi scheme. Any talk of tapering is just that; talk for the suckers. Any anemic GDP growth that currently exists is based on the liquidity that “Quantitative Easing” provides. If you taper that, the whole scheme will fail. It would take an extremely strong leader with ethics and toughness to reverse this and bring it in for a safe landing. That’s not going to happen. Do you know anybody like that in charge? That person will not get elected, and will not be hired by the current bunch. Barring some miracle windfall gusher of wealth coming out of a monkeys butt, they will hold it together with bubble gum, duck tape, and chop sticks, until it gives it’s final shudder.
