"All except the boldfaced lie on it that "hot water dissolves the gold"...BS!!" In fact, certain compositions of gold are known to be water soluble and this is one of the ways it forms with quartz in the earth's crust. Gold is deposited when an earthquake widens a fluid-filled rock fracture, causing a drop in pressure, which in turn allows gold dissolved in the fluid to rapidly leach out. Mind you it is not water for tea.
