RE:WhaCkYtaCo, stick to BS bashing. CLS=joke

RE:WhaCkYtaCo, stick to BS bashing. CLS=jokeThe MSDS sheet for CLS clearly states: Product is water soluable, and water may be acid and should not be allowed to enter a navigable stream.  Above 600 C, it decomposes to iron oxide and sulfur trioxide.  This is found in Section IV, Fire and Explosion Hazard Data, OSHA-20, Rev. May 72.

It goes on into Section V, which might be of interest:  Health Hazard Data
Rabbit: No LD at 2grams/KG, I.V. Dog - Soluble iron salts as FE  1.omg/m3

The this is a real thigh slapper, whaCkyTickyTackyTalkingSmacky,
Section VII -SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES
If CLS is in solution, neutralize with Sodium Hydroxide to pH8, then to pH7 with addition of H2SO4 (Sulfuric acid) and remove all neutralized solution from spill area.

OKAY HOT SHOT! Keep flapping your gums about how wonderful CLS is.  I'll bury you!

Since CLS is so acidic, the costs to leach with an acid (as opposed to the mucho cheaper cyanide) it let alone precipitate any gold or silver values just went up by about a factor of 4.  For starters, when CLS is involved, you can pretty much kiss easy silver values extraction goodbye in the Gold Equivalents department without adding more costs to extraction line item.

You really DON'T have a clue about the chemistry of gold extraction, WHackJob.  Give up while you're looking your only normally stupid.

OH, and I'm still long and strong and patient, you light in the socks pantywaist.
