Did not take long for this to start recovering.  It will be interesting to see the short position when next reported.

So much blood has been spilled already..not sure if this feels like a recovery yet.

I calculate BIR has traded 11.4 million shares above average volume in the last 4 days so there is probably not much pressure left from the shorts.

I am less certain than you on shorts having covered.  Considering some of then think the company should trade in the penny range, I think there are still 10 million or more short.  Time will tell.

 I'm not certain of anything with nat gas. I'm long BIR and don't think a short would pay at todays price. I have made some major mistakes on this.
