BIR and Jeff Tonken - Unwarranted Hate

The progress at KSI Lisims LNG is partly due to the support of BIR.

ROCKIES LNG is located in BIR's offices. Jeff Tonken is Chair on the steering committee of ROCKIES LNG and KSI Lisims LNG. 

You can bet he was involved in the recent Shell agreement with KSI Lisims. 

The man ultimately did what he said he was going to do....pay down debt as close as possible to zero and then pay shareholders. He maybe just did a little too much but Chris is here now to clean it up a bit. Hopeful we can turn this ship around over the next two years.

Bookings to transport natural gas – known in the pipeline industry as “nominations” – are shaping up to be strong, according to Rockies. Birchcliff Energy Ltd. is the leading member of Rockies, but ARC Resources Ltd. has exited the group. “I am pleased to say that we have replaced ARC in both size and nominations,” Birchcliff chief executive Jeff Tonken said in an e-mail.


Mr. Tonken is a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Steering Committee of Rockies LNG GP Corp. (“Rockies”) and is Rockies’ representative on the Steering Committee of Ksi Lisims LNG.

Thanks for the update Plutus.  I wonder why Arc has exited the group? May add some more next week, like to wait 3 full trading days and let the dust settle and emotions subside.
