This is huge let's help each other

That is what forum for.
I am trying to process buy / sell / hold decision.
Let's not go either direction "fianlly" or "we all gonna die!"

What it means operationally - great. We need to simplify and I was hopping for consolidation for awhile. Probably Mitsui demand, who would want to deal with separate companies located on 3 different continents at the same time?
What about the deal?
.02 is tiny bonus, we can forget about it.
What .7 BRZ per LPI means?
Is it good, bad, fair?
S/p of LPI collapsed together with ASX - one of the world worst performer aside from Russia, of course.
I will try to estimate the proportion. Not sure what we are going to do with LPI shares - wil it be tradable on TSXV, pink?
Can anyone contact BRZ management?

Total $0.31 CAD. That can't have been the last word. Still...a pretty safe 30% for first-time or newcomers to this stock     a total value of ~C$0.313 per share (including the capital return estimated at C$0.02 per share)....

They've been talking about Mitsui for a year. Why have they decided to do it now with the low price LPI ?  This is more BS ! More wasted time !  Always talk no action. I have been in BRZ for years and it is the same old song and dance !! What this will take 3 or 4 months, then a year !  Remember POSCO !!

So be happy because BRZ will soon be converted.

Actually, if LPI prices would be high, LPI would be in the position to demand discount from BRZ. If LPI would be .75, but BRZ .3, the exhcange would be more fair at .5 / share. Great timing for us. It is LPI shareholders should ask your question. Consolidation is the action, that is why s/p went up.

- LPI has been talking about Mitsui for over a year or 2 years. - BRZ management can not be reached for years - How shares outstanding with LPI, 300 million ? 250 ? Now how many share to give to BRZ shareholders and Borda ? 400 million outstanding ? Do the math!  - huge ?  Yes huge outstanding shares that dilute the stock and then comes the reverse split !

400M shares (your number) * .9 (forex AUS to CAD) * .385 (present LPI s/p) = 139M  for Maricunga. I call it dirt cheap. Yes, things are slow, it was frustrating. Reasons: COVID slowed down all developments; war and bear market supressed market; internally - fractures JV was big time constrain.  Market still suppressed, but two out of three is out. Market loved the move (giving BRZ 20 ...more

Hi neo, I am still here but just too busy working on a construction project. I agree with your assessments. The following is what I take. This merge is necessary & has been planned for a long time. BRZ is the smallest partner, so it is way under valued. Through this merge, BRZ got certain premium (about 45%), so our valuation increased. With LPI's share, we have further to gain. Right ...more

HI Tiger, What would happen if LPI doesn't start listing on a Canadian exchange and my online broker doesn't support the Australian market?
Comment by neosceptic on Jun 28, 2022 4:11pm
Tiger is busy now....but I think he will agree that though, theoretically it is possible, this scenario is very, very unlikely. I do not see this as a risk.  Legally, this is just a small headache, because BRZ is already listed (need to change legal name and get couple permissions - my guess). It is uncommon to be listed in few exchanges to get more exposure to capital (Franfurt and American ...more

Hi neo, Thanks for answering FoMoMoFo. I am working on a project in Washington States, 3 hours time difference, & busy on my job. Also I don't visit SH often, most time at CEO.CA. I did check with the company through email, and was told that LPI will not be listed in Canada after merger, so it will be hard to trade. However, you can set up an account (will post seperately). Personally, ...more

Hi Tiger, Thank you very much this is valuable information. My assumption was all wrong....BRZ did not communicate this well at all! I am not sure what to expect, Maricunga is prime reserve and BRZ is way to cheap compare to potentials, but trading shares may become a problem. I agree with you, something will happen within 6 or so month, but I like to have liquidity and option to sell, if not ...more
