Complaining about a stock you are long of, is counterproductive , unless you have a motive to beat it down , as to my buying even you must notice that the depth  of the market has improved substancially . When my bids stop getting hit i will start to lift offers, there is a substancial 4 million plus short disclosed , and i suspect at least 20 million shares naked short in the market . When the algos that drive the naked short switch to cover this stock will get back to a reasonable level, as both you and Witt note the real solution is a capital one at the company level, through 1) JV 2) takeout  3) increased leverage 4) equity issuance.

The reserve report doesnt misrepresent the value in the ground, if the company was negative cash flow i would not be interested , it howecver has at leats 18 months to hit the wall , that is an eternity in the oil market.
