Wuggy, not sure if I understand your take on this, but what I said was exactly what I meant to say. Beyond the posturing, school-yard taunts, and bullying that occurs on both sides of the issues, when push comes to shove and suicidal maniac extremists gain control of nuclear weapons, we will have no choice but to react to protect ourselves and our way of life. Now, I realize that there will be a whole lot of bleeding heart leftists out there who would sooner negotiate with the thugs who want nothing better than to slit our throats or destroy us all in some nuclear conflagration, but I guess that is the sad reality of living in a permissive free society.
