Belo is not the land owner. Incra just granted the use

Belo is not the land owner. Incra just granted the use In a note to Gazeta do Povo, Belo Sun reported that Incra granted the use of 2,400 hectares of land for a specified period for the implementation of the mine and its infrastructure “through numerous counterparts in favor of Agrarian Reform in the region, all under the sieve of a long public administrative process and under the scrutiny of the competent authorities”. The company claims that the institute is the “legitimate owner of the land” and that there are two decisions from the Federal Court in Altamira rejecting the suspension of the contract. “It is worth highlighting that the concession contract remains in force and valid to date, with Belo Sun, for all legal purposes, holding the right to possession of the concession area”, he said, stating that the Volta Grande Project “will bring development, progress and security for communities and the region of the State of Para”
