Solvency Issue
Solvency IssueAsk yourself this? Why would BXE hedge natural gas at such a low price of $2.92 for the summer? The reason is they already know how bad this quarter is turning out for them financially, and their hands were literally tied to make a hedge at $2.92. It is a very desperate move. Basically it ensures that they can meet their financial obligations. This quarter numbers will be pretty brutal IMO if it forced them to enter into this hedge.
