Bowater

BowaterFor those that missed the news, Bowater Thunder Bay is asking the unions to agree to open the contract and let go 157 employees. Also in Thunder Bay, the old Cascades fine paper mill was supposed to reopen but hasn't been able to find enough financial backers. Any new money is not going into Ontario with its high electrical rates. Watch for a press release about new investment in the idle Lufkin Texas mill when the market starts to pick up.
