I was talking about an independent investigation regarding the investor money that magically disappeared. I could not care less who gave him that pair of shiners. Maybe he was just too drunk and tripped over his own feet. Then he hired a bodyguard because he thought he is Jeff Bezos.

nineply: The auditor does the financial investigation.  If you are in Canada then you have heard that the Government in Ontario has just had and audit by the auditor general.  That audit found al-most 1 billion dollars of grant money missing.  That is what auditors do and adutors are independent.  Yes !!! audits have been done but the audit with MGX M is one year behind.

Company financial audits are no fraud investigations. Yearly audits are done to make sure the companies do proper accounting/book keeping as required by reporting standards. An auditor's job is not to look actively for fraudulent actions - unless they are hired to do so of course. So far we have only seen the tip of the iceberg.
