RE:Solvent free extraction?At some point I intend to put out an educational series on extraction and other science and technology relating to Cannabis and other Natural Health Products. This will do a much better job of answering your questions.
In short, we have a couple of approaches to extract or isolate cannabinoids (THC and CBD) from plant material. One of these does not require solvents (including CO2) and produces and oil that is 100% cannabis. I do not want to reveal the entire process but this is designed to produce edibe oils and the final carrier oil is Hemp Seed Oil, which is of course Cannabis oil. We have very high extraction efficiency using our process and it is very scalable. We are working to get products out for sale as soon as possible. I am confident all will be impressed with the quality of these.
However, this process is not suitable for a smokabe resin so we have other extraction technology in house to make those types of products, including CO2 extraction. Our team is constantly looking for new approaches and technologies to make our existing technology more efficient and to develop new product types.
