Statistics Canada released December retail sales for the country this morning, with cannabis sales growth increasing sequentially. Sales of C$298.4 million rose 14.3% from November, which had fallen 3% from October levels, and rose 102% from a year ago. In November, year-over-year growth had slowed below 100% for the first time, gaining 93%. For all of 2020, cannabis sales increased 121% to $2.62 billion.

Keep focusing on the long game here with over 800 stores still to be opened in Ontario this year.  30 per week now.

In addition, the 800 stores which will be opened in Ontario do not include Mississauga, Oakville, Brampton, Pickering, Vaugh, etc since the mayors are dragging their feet.  How long will that last!  LOL

Hopefully they'll realize that they're over-taxing the product...they could probably make more in increased sales by easing their cut and adjusting the packaging /advertising away from draconian tobacco models..if they really want to cut into the black market....here in NS anyway...they being the government
