With the significant drop in the short position over the past 2 weeks, the technicals, recent news, and yesterday's green close, I feel there's reason to be optimistic that the downtrend is over and a reversal about to begin.
I think you're right. I loaded up in the $1.70's and $1.60's in anticipation of a nice run up in the coming weeks. I believe the last time we saw such a significant drop in short positions was January, and the SP ran up to over $2.75 as a result. I believe we'll see the same in the next few weeks or less.
SHorts can only hold a stock down for so long until technicals overcome. 2021 is going to be a great year for VLNS, and in turn for us.
