@krishak5  Three reasons AuCu will become a story stock: Cadia (>50Moz Au + 8.7Mt Cu, the largest gold mine in Australia), Northparkes (5.2Moz Au + 4.4 Mt Cu, the 2nd largest porphyry copper mine in Australia), and Cowal (>11Moz Au), and other world class deposits were all discovered because of outcrops of mineralization in the southern part of the Macquarie Arc. No outcrops can be seen in the northern extension of the Macquarie Arc because of the veneer of sedimentary cover hiding the mineralization. However the occurrence of metal deposits undercover can be detected from their magnetic fingerprint and targeted for cost effective mud-rotary drilling through the sedimentary cover.

Dr Douglas Haynes, Chief Geologist with Western Mining, BHP Minerals, and BHP Billiton Minerals and the discoverer of several world class deposits of gold and copper, was the brain-child behind the idea of searching for Cadia and Northparkes-like deposits in the Northern extension of the Macquarie Arc. He shared his idea with Alistair Waddell who turned it into Inflection Resources with the symbol AUCU.
