I'm sure they want to do right, but at the same time they reep tens of millions in investment banking, IPO's, brokerage fees etc. hence the thousands mabe tens of thousands of penny stocks on the venture. A lot of which are nothing more than a office with a computer. The dotcom comes to mind. Match that with hungry retail investor out for quick profits and you have a out of control frenzy. It all comes down to fear and greed, if you can read the market with any accuracy and put emotions aside there's money to be made. It's a jungle out there.
