you do understand that in Canada, no one owns the land. The Crown does.
I used to work with Ministry of Transportation to legal survey for new highways.
We had to extradite land for new highways.
The Crown would offer them a fair value and some people would say NO, and take the government to court. The government went to court and just extradited the land anyways and paid them fair market value. End of story.
That is for people who owned land since the 1800's. i dont think there will be much compensation for a mining claim.
US is different. Land owners own the land. That is why you see so much land there to ruin. Land owners died and didnt will their land to anyone so it just sits there. No one can use it except for the dead guy.
I think KWG should try to stay out of the courts and put the 30% BD up for sale with a price tag attached.
