No cash, so how?

As KWG has done a deal to acquire Magpie special shares, they must have a plan to get the common shares as well? So how? They don't have cash as far as I can tell.

@ dmtc, one possabillity ( strictly guessing here) is the Magpie takeover play by KWG was used as leverage to get FNC to agree ( or atleast listen to) amalgamate FNC&KWG into one pretty package for a major ( who has already been consulted) to swallow everything. This gives said major an attrative asset in Magpie that is pretty much unincumbered because the amalgamation  settles the FNC

Option A sure is intriguing and does fit the narrative. I know they are all talking to each other, but I don't know if a big player is truly interested or not. They should be based on the enormous combined assets!

Interesting commentary STN....So do you think EN will be back in play somehow??? One must surmise that KWG has a backer somewhere in the wings. It would be nice to get a proper udate from the company.

@ Dragon , sorry, maybe I should have worded that a little better/differently. If BHP was to take over the KWG ROF assets it would give BHP some leverage to try and strong arm a few other assets such as Big Daddy or Mcfaulds lake copper/zinc claim away from Wyloo. I am not sure these 2 can play in the same sandbox but there is so much potential wealth up there that has not been discovered as of

I agree, KWG must have some deep pockets backing up their master plan. They could not come out and make take over bids if they were unable to back up said bid. I for one think this would benefit FNC and KWG to a larger amount. I hope they have something brewing and I hope they are not to late to the party already. Here's hoping.

I imagine there are negotiations ongoing to make this hapen as per the news release from KWG .....or is able to complete a business combination with or the acquisition of the shares of Fancamp Two different things proposed here it seems.....one a merger...the other, an outright acquisition of shares. Then there's the $34m debt to FNC. Maybe Franco-Nevada is sniffing around

Hey Misty.... Did you too or go to the Bank Of Nova Scotia when senior gave his friends 13% in one month. All that they could put in. Imagine being high in a corparation and maneuve funds that DAY!
